Materials & Care

Asteroid Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel polished in powder coat is known for its excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for outdoor furniture exposed to varying climates. Powder coating adds an aesthetic layer, allowing color matching with other coated components and enhancing visual harmony across a collection. The metal undergoes an electropolishing treatment that concentrates chromium, nickel, and other alloy elements at the surface, significantly improving corrosion resistance. This process also smooths out microscopic imperfections, creating a high-performance, low-maintenance material suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications, particularly in coastal or high-humidity environments.

Stainless steel is generally resistant to corrosion. And yet natural hazards such as dust and moisture in the air can attack the finish on this type of outdoor furniture. A regular cleaning of stainless steel frame is required on a monthly basis to remove the natural deposits.

Cover or store indoors when not in use and the temperature extremely rise or drop low.
Upon the spills, please immediately wipe off with dry, soft cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the metal grain to avoid streaks and maintain a polished look.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and scratching with sharp objects. Aggressive cleaning should not be necessary.
Use fresh water only; spray the frames down thoroughly at a high hose pressure. A soft dusting cloth can then be used to enhance the surface.
Always dry the surface completely after cleaning to prevent water spots and potential rusting.

Minimal Maintenance:Simple hose by water and wipe with dry cloth
Water Resistant:Yes
Wear Resistant:Powder coat layer, strong and durable
Good Texture:Coat layer smooths out microscopic imperfections, resulting in a sleek, lasting matte finish

Walnut Teak Fine Finish

Crafted from premium solid teak wood sourced from FSC-certified forests, Walnut Brushed Teak offers a timeless appeal rooted in sustainability and performance. Each piece begins with mature teak logs selected for their exceptional density and grain consistency, ensuring durability and beauty that last through generations. Before finishing, the wood undergoes a kiln-drying process to stabilize its structure and reduce moisture content, minimizing the risk of warping or cracking over time. A rich walnut color coating is then applied to the teak base, enhancing its natural character with a deep brown hue that exudes warmth and sophistication. The matte brushed finish adds a smooth, tactile surface while maintaining the organic texture of real wood. This finish is ideal for indoor use, offering not only outstanding durability and resistance to wear but also a visually refined, elegant look. Fully recyclable and finished with environmentally conscious methods, Walnut Brushed Teak strikes the perfect balance between luxury and sustainability.

Our finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that will add character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance. Recommended care for wood furnishings may vary depending on the finishes applied to each surface.

Use a dry cloth to dust furniture weekly.
Use coasters under beverages to prevent marks and stains.
Upon the spills, please immediately wipe off using a mild soap, water, and soft undyed cloth as needed. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and scratching with sharp objects. Aggressive cleaning should not be necessary.
Avoid placing indoor furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in finishes.
Long-lasting protection: regular sealing helps maintain the wood's natural color and protects against weathering.
How often the treatment is needed depends on the climate and whether the furniture is placed at a sheltered position. As a general rule, teak surfaces should be cleaned and treated at least once a year.
